What Is a State Fiscal Year (FSY)?
A state fiscal year is the 12-month period that the state uses to implement and reposrt on accounting and budget activites for the year.
Wisconsin’s state fiscal year (SYF) runs from July 1 throught the following June 30 and is named for the calander year in which it ends. For example, SFY runs from July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027.
