Innovative harness system provides unmatched comfort and durability
The Drager PSS 7000 SCBA is designed so that the heaviest components sit at a lower center of gravity to
increase stability and balance, allowing the wearer to work more effectively with less fatigue. The
PSS 7000 includes an adjustable harness suspension system that provides the ultimate in comfort and
extended wear. Durable webbing and advanced compression-molded comfort padding offer up to
6.5-times higher abrasion resistance than traditional padding. The material surface is easy to
clean and disinfect with a high resistance to chemical and mechanical damage.
The harness has a high-grip, anti-slip inner surface that stays securely in place without a chest
strap or having to over-tighten the shoulder straps. Cooling channels in the shoulder straps and
waist belt reduce the likelihood of compression burns. A stainless-steel, harness-friction buckle
makes the SCBA easy to don and doff.
Ergonomic three-position backplate allows freedom of movement
The Drager PSS 7000 is designed to move with the wearer, enabling unrestricted movement while
walking, crawling, or climbing. The backplate automatically lengthens and pivots to mirror the wearer’s
movements. The unique, self-adjusting, and pivoting waist belt keeps the SCBA on the hips when a
firefighter reaches, preventing the coat from riding up.
To reduce back strain, the SCBA’s weight is designed to ride on the hips. The three-position, the
carbon-fiber composite backplate adjusts to fit different torso lengths comfortably.
A slide-and-lock harness mechanism allows the harness and waist belt to be connected or removed
from the backplate quickly without tools. To minimize the risk of snagging or damage, supply hoses
are integrated neatly into the backplate.
Rapid, secure cylinder change-outs save precious time
The PSS 7000 has a lock-and-load system that lets colleagues securely change out cylinders quickly.
A proven, quarter-turn OuickConnect adapter allows quick and easy attachment of the cylinder to the
reducer, saving
time compared to conventional threaded reducer hand-wheel-and-cylinder CGA connections.
OuickConnect features a safety interlock system that prevents disconnection at pressures above
approximately 70 psi.

Draeger Fps 7000 Face Mask For Pss7000 SCBA Without Voice Amp
Field of vision
The FPS 7000 face mask was designed to provide the firefighter with an exceptional, unobstructed wide field of vision. The tough, distortion-free polycarbonate visor has an anti-scratch coating for protection. Incoming air enters the face mask via a unique one-way valve, distributing the air evenly over the inside of the visor, preventing fogging and cross-contamination to the lung demand valve.
Mask Body and Fit
The FPS mask body is made of a durable EPDM rubber material, providing an excellent facial seal with outstanding comfort. The unique triple sealing edges on the FPS 7000 face mask (an industry first) follow the contours of the firefighter’s face, providing an excellent seal. Three-size face masks and inner masks now guarantee a perfect fit for any firefighter. Ergonomically designed, the quick-donning head harness forms to the shape of the head, providing excellent comfort and support for the mask on the face.
Clear Communication
Our new mechanical speech diaphragm raises the benchmark to provide excellent communications between firefighters and could be the answer to meet the new stringent NFPA 2007 communication requirements. The FPS mask is also the first face mask to be designed with a fully integrated communication system. The FPS-COM voice amplifier system forms to the contours of the face mask. The combination of the FPS 7000 face mask with the FPS-COM voice amplifier system ensures a perfectly balanced system. The unique twin speakers (on the left and right of the mask) provide the ultimate in speech clarity with a surround sound output. Depending on your requirements, the FPSCOM system can be easily integrated into your existing radio system. Fully submersible, the FPS-COM system can be effectively cleaned without being removed from the face mask.
HUD SYSTEM
No matter what the environmental conditions are, the new Dräger HUD system will always provide valuable cylinder information directly to the firefighter. The HUD is positioned inside the mask for maximum protection and performance. The HUD provides cylinder content information, 50% cylinder content warning, and SCBA systems alert warning, as well as providing buddy light information. Waterproof, robust, and reliable, and using the latest wireless technology, the HUD can be easily installed in seconds.

Positioned inside the FPS 7000 Full Face Mask for maximum protection and performance, the heads-up display (HUD) provides cylinder content information and monitoring system alert warnings, as well as buddy lights that allow others to read the HUD in a RIT situation.
